Re: Any interest in flying this again?

I have everything they've released except Tank Crew and the ground vehicles, and the Ju-52 and U-2VS (neither of which interested me).

It's really a great sim.

Re: Flying Circus: who has and/or is interested

I have Vol 2 preordered so I've been getting the planes as they come out. The map is always the last thing to be released.

It flies a lot like the old Rise of Flight.

Re: Rudder Pedals

I've used pedals in flying since...2000? Whenever my friend gave me his 1st gen TM RCS (gold anodized frame) when he got the 2nd gen.

I used them forever up to my Cougar, then went with the ones that came with my G940. When that gave out, got the Log/Saitek, and now the MFG.

Re: Hey guys!

I'm half Polish but know next to none of the language. My grandparents were born in either Krakow or Warsaw, I forget which. They died over 40 years ago so I barely knew them, but they spoke perfect English as they came over very young.I barely remember my great-grandmother who spoke with a bit of a...

Re: Liberation 4.0 test campaign

Is the 31 supposed to be roughly a J-20 stand-in then? From what I understand it's basically a stealthy Foxfire as far as its role, although not as fast and with missiles that aren't as ranged as the 33/37.

Re: Just Bought New Rudder Pedals

I can. It's the left toe brake that broke. I am considering whether to remap the right pedal to just "both" brakes or just leaving it as is. The spring is totally gone, but the pot works. So it moves to either depressed or not but then stays there depending on gravity and where my foot is....

Just Bought New Rudder Pedals

So, just a couple of months after buying my Orion HOTAS, I've bought the MFG Crosswinds pedals... To replace the Logi/Saitek that broke with a loud SNAP on Wed nite. PDT_Armataz_01_19 I watched videos online and saw the part that broke is a weak plastic part the spring attaches to. You can get a met...

Might need to ask HB or whoever they are about it. Seems like a definite CP limitation.

Re: Liberation 4.0 test campaign

Not to be a pedant but...where did China get MiG-31s anyway? Never exported from Russia once!
Damned R-33s seem to work better than AIM-54s which is NOT likely. If the R-33 was so great, it would
1) have been used on other planes and
2) not been replaced by the R-37 ;)

Re: Liberation 4.0 test campaign

The MiG-21 would work well for China, although they never had the bis themselves.

Still, flying against JF-17s might be a real challenge as I've not seen much in the way of weaknesses for them yet. Hammer's PK with them seems FAR higher than the western missiles and even the R-77.

It's been no more than about 90F here in HOT Florida. Where the AC is a prime concern so we're always cool indoors. ;)

New update + Marianas

Get it while it's hot, remember to get Marianas you have to go into Module Mgr and manually select it to DL.
The regular update was just a couple GB, Marianas was only like 5GB more.

If it has the Gazelle, the other helos and 25T should work as well.

Beyond that, anything outside the Black Sea region is welcome at this point, whether Syria, PG, or even NTTR.
