ok thats a good pilot atleast, IE he almost got it down in insane winds and then kept everyone alive. but still WOW but on the flip side a DUMB ass who shlould have pu;;ed up a hell of a lot sooner then that.

he pretty much dumped it as hs transitioned out of the crab....the plane about pancaked right there. It had to be a Boeing plane...the computer on an Airbus would have never let the pilot have that much control.

Airbus is pretty much persona non grada here in kansas after the tanker debacle on friday

pucker factor was high on that one. Can they disengage Airbus comp control? I can't imagine he wanted to try and make that landing unless he was getting low on fuel?

its an airbus and the ATC dumbasses had him on a crosswind runway.....once he missed the approch they landed on the head on runway with no problem.....other than large amounts of organic matter in the shorts
