holy crap that was no minor engagment, they where lettign loose. tho there was a burst in the background of what looked like AAA gun, what was with that.

You are right Softball that did remind me of COD4, and I swear I heard a mini-gun atleast twice. The triple A was a bit puzzeling to me also from what I could tell there was no air support in the area at the time.

Um also note it came from behind the americans so odds are its american which is even more confusing. Americans more or less use missles for there air defence these days.

Humvee mounted minigun @ 1.03....AAA could have been speculative fire i guess?

Just a guess, but maybe the AAA tracer fire into the air was to mark the location for re-enforcements; to let other insurgents know that they were under attack? Or perhaps it was a signal that the SF troops were moving out of the area?
