No, I didn't try Staark-rlg, but I it's too late, I've already registered as "zoftball." It's just an account login and forum name, no big.

I got an email from The Old Republic Community this morning that says:

"This is no Jedi mind trick. The most heavily anticipated MMO to date will launch on 12.20.2011. "

So! Days of Our Lives Online - at last!

@Panzer: exactly. If I was going to start playing, I'd be on perhaps once a week at best for a few hours. Certainly not on the weekends. I'm hiking most weekends or I have family obligations where I'm not near a computer. Sooooo that won't work for me. Bummer.

I'll wait for the reviews from you guys first before I decide whether or not to take the plunge. :-)

A few friends from my old Shadowbane guild will be playing as well. Not sure which direction they are heading though.

Got an email from SWTOR:

"We hope you are enjoying participating in the Game Testing Program and want to thank you for helping shape the most anticipated MMO to date."

Gosh, I'm so happy to know that they appreciate all I've done while participating in the Game Testing Program! First I've heard of it, but still - awfully nice of them to thank me for it.

Another email from the folks at SWTOR:

"On September 29th, you received two emails regarding the Star Wars™: The Old Republic™ Game Testing Program. These emails were sent to you by mistake. This was due to an internal error and not the result of hacking or malware. Please be assured that no personal information was compromised. We are sorry for any confusion this may have caused. Please note that receipt of these e-mails does not affect your chances to be invited to test the game at a later date."
