So I ordered this from Newegg yesterday and should get it in a few days,

ASRock P67 EXTREME4 (B3) LGA 1155 Intel P67 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

Intel Core i7-2600 Sandy Bridge 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo Boost) LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor BX80623I72600

Kingston HyperX T1 Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model KHX1600C9D3T1K2/8GX

nice. what hard drive do you have to plug into that? it will help a lot to upgrade your hard drive as well.

Just a no-frills 7200 rpm 640 GB hard drive. I THINK it's a Maxtor but I'm not certain.

OK. is the 2600 a K model or no? (K's cane be overlocked - although I never do that - just wondering what people buy).

I don't fiddle with overclocking so it's just the 2600 version. It was 15 dollars less than the 2600k.
