Some random sports trivia

I've always had a fascination with sports trivia and out of curiosity I looked up the professional sports teams which hold the record for the most consecutive losing seasons for their respective sport. Here is what I found:
MLB
Pittsburgh Pirates 18 losing seasons in a row
NFL
Tampa Bay Buccaneers 14 losing seasons in a row
NHL
Couldn't find this data. Maybe one of our resident hockey fans knows this?
NBA
Sacramento Kings 16 losing seasons in a row

Im not sure about consecutive losing seasons and how thats defined BUT - Im sad to say my NHL team has stunk since 1968 (we last won the Cup in 1967). The Toronto Maple Leafs. Going on like 55 years.....
Pretty sure its the longest streak for any professional sports franchise.....

Aren't there like 80 games in a hockey season? So in other words, which team has had a losing record (39 or less wins) for the most consecutive seasons.

Ya its 82 games so I guess we arent anywhere near that record.... Cups hurt more though. That streak it horrible......
