Post by PanzerMeyer »

Letterboy and I already own a copy. I know Buffalo Six has already ordered his and Jedi told me he would eventually order a copy as well. How about the rest of you? Do you plan on getting it or not?

you are really going to need some kind of pedal manipulation with prop aircraft... if you have a twist stick, that will help.

yeah, Veg will love the P38 right up until someoen with a squirt gun blows his horizontal stablizer off and its silk time or....if I remember correctly from my experence with this birb in IL2, one little dinky hit and one or the other engine go up in flames. We used to use this bird as a RECON ship, and I cant tell you how many times I had to nurse one back to base with an engine flaming like a roman candle. usually to blow up the second the wheel hits the ground.

Heh Veg I would say IL2 over F4AF due to the complexity of the F16 systems....hell I cant even figure them out much less land those damn things.

I've been using a twist rudder since the beginning and it works great for me. Then again, I'm a retard Southpaw. PDT_Armataz_01_12

Softball: I am going to get the 1946 version, next payday.

You replied to it too...

Panzer: The more of us who buy IL-2 1946 the better. I've already downloaded a bunch of Cooperative missions which have the new planes. Jedi will also be buying 1946 and Buffalo Six already ordered his copy.

That's great to hear. I look forward to having you join us for some fun IL-2 flying. We only fly Cooperative missions by the way!
