I've been running about in the German, American and Russian early jets and the Germans are very very very very tempermental when it comes to throttle control, I mean come on if you slam it into after burner or throttle back, if you don't do it in slow increments even when flying all of a sudden you got a fire on your hands. I was straffing Russian bombers and man I zoomed by about to go into a split s then invert to a loop to come around on this bomber when I get the engine fire warning after I throttled back quickly. I look to my left no black smoke then I look to my right and low and behold the whole wing is engulfed in flames.

been there done that, easy to do and also note the plane in il2 goes up in flames easialy when hit as well, lack of armor
