Anyone know how to skip that opening movie and go to main menu directly? Right now it appears if I press escape at EXACTLY the right moment I can skip it.

there is a setting in the options somewhere... i will look later. once you start IL2, do not touch any other keys, etc. wait until it gets into the game before you do anything or it may well get hosed. happens to me often, and not just with this game...i end up having to hard reboot.

in the il2 folder, there is a program called il2setup or somesuch and this is where I disabled the movie. It has other options too.
