IL2 FB/AEP/PF Install procedure?

Hi guys looks like i'll be joining you in the WW2 Skies.

I went into the local Games store with my £50-$75 christmas money :D not looking for anything in particular and spotted Pacific fighters for £20/$30! hummed and hawwed and then grabbed it off the shelf (i loved IL2 the original) so now what do i need i thought, Ahh yes IL2FB and Aces expansion pack so looked in all the shelves and found IL2FB for £10/$15 now all i need is AEP i said to myself, But no joy they didn't have it nor did the other local store :( .

So headed home jumped on the net and ordered AEP from a reliable UK source for £10/$15 So hopefully if i ordered it early enough in the day it will be on my doorstep tomorrow morning/afternoon, failing that it will be here by Saturday.

So that done all i need is the latest patches for them all.

I have DL'd the 1.0>1.22 for IL2FB

Also have the 2.0>2.01 and 2.01>2.04 for AEP

and the 303m patch for PF.

Is this all i need?

I seen another expansion for IL2FB (Operation Fall Blau: The Russian Southern Front) in the store but you guys have not mentioned using it so i didn't bother getting it.

I also take it the install order is:

IL2FB>1.22 patch + AEP>2.01>2.04 + PF>3.03m

Is this correct?

Can't wait to try all this out, and carrier ops WW2 style should be fun 8)

never heard of that add on - maybe it is not official?

anyway, install FB.

when you get AEP, install it - i am pretty sure it patched FB to the necessary version.

then install PF, it will do necessary patching as well. do a merged install.

then download and install the 3.03m (for merged installs) patch. you are set.

did I get that right? Panzer/Jedi/anyone else?

Right, that's not an official addon, it's just missions and skins.
As for the install order from scratch, I'm not sure as my install hasn't been altered since I got FB. :) I've been just doing them as they come out, so Steel's way SOUNDS right, but...
