YES! I've got it.

Got the mother of all wwII flight sims now in my hands. With PF, I have access to every WWII or most of them and most if not all theatres. This is simply cool. I'm going to install and perhaps we can play a bit this weekend? Saturday night maybe?

Why not tonight? I wouldn't mind doing some more IL-2. We'll see who shows up tonight and go from there.

Dont forget to patch to 3.04m!

Grifter,

Make sure you do the integrated install, NOT the stand alone. And the get the necessary patches.

you will need 3.03m, AND 3.03M to 3.04m patches.

get your controllers set up, and configure some necessary input keys/joystick buttons:

chocks
arresting hook
fire extinguisher
gun pods enable
weap 1 & 2 fire (together)
manual gear up
manual gear down
air brakes
wing fold

those do not have any keystrokes assigned by default. there may be a couple of others as well.

do some practice (although i think you are o.k. for the most part - how long has it been?) and make sure you have your graphics set so you don't stutter.
