DA pointed this out to me, looks interesting. I wonder if it interferes with the PF install...

All these Il-2 packs are purely skins and missions/scripted campaigns. For that, I feel they're overpriced. Besides Softball, how many missions/campaigns in the STOCK Il-2 have you finished?? :)

I was thinking in terms of more MP coop missions, but hey, what do I know.

Set features eight new campaigns, special training features, online cooperative missions, a speech pack to convert Russian and German to English, and a skin pack with ten new skins.

Just wanted to share it with you all. No big.

I think that will work out well for you guys. Hopefully if all goes well I will be getting a new computer and I will buy all versions of IL2 to get up to speed for pacific fighters. F4 is tempting but I just can't see myself doing it. have you guys checked out the download movies for this game. Not bad at all.

DA

I do have IL2 at home but now I am wondering if this game only needs the original IL2 version or which addon to run. Never mind...I need Forgotten battles. I guess I can purchase that one also, atleast I will be half way there.

Don't buy the original iL-2 - you need the following:

iL-2 Forgotten Battles
iL-2 FB Aces Expansion Pack
iL-2 Pacific Fighters

And then you'll need to do the merged install, followed by the merged install patch updates. 8)
