This is what I think of when I think heritage wing. The advances in combat aviation were so incredible during this period it is hard to believe it happened in 4 years...

I am in a Fokker DVII flight of four tasked with droppong the two inbound Russian Ilya bombers - of course they have an escort.













I got a kill on a bomber, but an escort took me out as I was lining up on the second...and the German's did not carry parachutes!
