Its started on 40 and I thought that was a bit low... 65-100 is considered HARD - I figured Id stay on the low end but I can drop it down if we want. Just let me know. Maybe we go to like 64 or 65?

Keep in mind you had a 28 second gap at the end of the race and that was to me not the AI (on default who were further behind)

Also based on the below Im not even sure AI will showup in a "league" race at this point... so we'll have to see

Oh wow, that will really suck if AI cars in League races are not working. EA really dropped the ball on this.

100% - if all else fails well run the races in order under multiple player and Ill just track the results manually. Really a drag in 2023 but if thats what needs to be done..... At least then well be racing for "something"

Good idea Trichome. To be honest, if the League races really don't have AI cars right now then it's not even worth starting a League for now. We'll just wait until EA hopefully fixes that. We'll just do the individual races as you said.

Ok so I'm going to just wait until AI cars are added to League races and then we'll implement the full car damage setting.

Im not going to Lie.. Im a bit disappointed in that...I like racing with you guys. But I can see how Lap1 getting hit twice would bother me too

I feel like we all need to understand the rules of racing...

1 the person passing has the RESPONSIBILITY to make a safe pass. Lap 1 or the final lap. If its not safe you shouldn't do it...
2 You brake in a straight line. No swerving under braking.
3 You are permitted to make 1 blocking attempt. Defend either the racing line or take the defense and cover the inside line... ONE or the OTHER... not both. No swerving under braking.

Side notes... Remember the tires need to warm up. Your stopping distance isn't as good during lap 1 and 2.....
You aren't going to win every race...We need to be patient and respect the other racers....

This is a good site to follow if we want to see how rules are understood....

Accidents are going to happen but we can do better..... and Yes damage should be on.

Good post Trichome. I was thinking that maybe we can leave car damage off for now but keep the 30 minute practice time? That practice time would give all of us plenty of time to get used to the track and that may help reduce the chances for accidents between us.

Im good with that.... Maybe we can discuss this before the next race. I really look forward to racing with you guys. Open lobbies are a disgrace.
