Practiced a bit last night to try to learn the F-14 more which feels older than I am.

My 2nd trap (I was way too high but I didn't crash). I'm still figuring out the HUD. it seems that whole cockpit is pointed nose down or something.

Also, the latest beta update added the waste gunner to the Mi24. This will be great for going in low and taking our enemy troops and manpads. Some practice. I can pick a side of the Mi24 but if I do this, one of my pylons has to be empty. so, that's the tradeoff.

You can take over the gunner spot or let the Ai fight and give him Hold, Return Fire, or weapons free commands. He's probably a better shot than I would be.

Creeper,

The HUD is not to be trusted for attitude. Everyone I talked to about it agrees that it is not representative of the waterline but no one can give me a reason why they did it that way. They just say that the VSI is what you should trust for attitude.

Thats actually pretty cool how the gear can be broken, like its a separately modeled piece of the aircraft. Most flight sims I've seen it either works or it doesn't.

I was the only one on tonight. Took out some enemy vics. I did not get shot down but didn't do a good job landing (too fast) and rolled over. Oh well. Here is one of my armor hits:
