Hi All,

Last Friday Wingy opened Wings Tavern and we flew Kola. We used the saved files from our Kola mission from last Wednesday, so basically we just advanced our Wed progress.

That's when it occurred to me--we can either play Kola on Wed and Fri nights. Or, we can move Kola on Fri nights and replace Wed night with a different map, one that those who couldn't participate in Kola like Grifter or Xpen can join in.

Would you like to do that?

Wed night fly Foothold Caucasus/Syria/Persian Gulf/Sinai (or a single mission or Through the Inferno/Snowfox). All Foothold missions will be the latest versions. This would be at 8pm Eastern.

Friday Foothold Kola, moved from Wed. This would be at 930pm Eastern.

What do you all think?

Yeah I’d be fine with that. I still don’t have Iraq or Afghanistan but I may get them in the next sale.

I don't recall if I have a Foothold for Afghanistan but I do for Iraq. I've been putting that one through its paces solo, and it's not real easy doing it solo! I'm currently trying to take Duhok City and it has taken me at least 7 sorties and 5 losses just to get it down to a moving column. Haha, I'm not a one man army! Plus I can only take territory using the AI so I run out of credits easily.

I feel like we just started Kola. I'm all for doubling up on Wed and Fri missions to get through the map faster and then we can move on to another map we havent tried before.

Thanks for your thoughts, Creeps. Maybe we can get Jedi, Trichome, and Wingy's thoughts tonight. Maybe Neph too.

If you do Kola both nights I obviously won't be able to join you as I don't have that map and don't plan on buying any more maps at this point. If you do decide to run one of the maps I do have tonight, I will try and join. If not, that's ok - I don't want to hold you up with what you want to do. You still flying at 7pm CST?

So we flew Foothold Syria tonight and henceforth Wed nights. Kola will be on Fridays and on an additional day if anyone is interested.

It was great having you back Xpen! Thanks for thinking of this bones. I think this new arrangement will work out fine.

No problem! I'm glad it's working out. I'm still open to another day for people like Trichome who bought Kola to fly it but can't make it on Fridays. I don't want their investment to be for naught.
