Ok Where do I buy it?

I still have the original Lock ON CD. Where do I buy the flaming cliffs add on? will that work or do I need to buy some sort of gold package? I think Panz was mentioning it. I'm not sure if I'll actually buy but I would like to have a look around. Let me know what I need to buy and where i might get it.

You either have to order FC online or buy the Gold version from a retailer.
You can order the Gold version from here ($29.90 + s/h):

Although, you may want to find a local retailer that has it, cause Steel had a bad copy of the Gold version and had to return it. Some of the bad Gold version CDs might be out there still.

well, what do you guys recommend. I found a place where I can d/l Lock On 1.1 Flaming cliffs for 14.95. Do you suspect there will be any conflicts if I don't get the gold version?

Panzer and I don't have the gold version, we've got the single add-on CD. We didn't DL it, though I don't think you should have too much trouble with it. I personally prefer the CD for reloading purposes.

I think the DL version has a limited number of installs/uses. I recommend you get the CD version of FC or the Gold version of LO.

Hmmmm . . .knowing Steel as I does, if you order the CD version instead of downloading from a website, Steel may be helpful in assisting you get updated as soon as possible. Give him a PM. Steel, hope I aint being too presumptuous here fella!

i got the gold version for 19.99. it had the bad cd1, but i just had to call and they sent me a new one. now, since it has been a while, you may or may not get a bad cd1.
but you can get just the addon and you will be fine... i agree, order the cd.
see, if i edit a post after someone else has posted it shows a last edited by time...
