Foothold Missions in the Future
I was jsut over at the Foothold Discord and was able to get Foothold missions for:
Marianas
Iraq
Cold War Germany
Kola
and updated versions of
Caucasus
Persian Gulf
Syria
Sinai
So we have missions we can fly in the future.

Re: Foothold Missions in the Future
I think a bunch of us have Kola, but any of those maps will do.
In fact, since I'm flying Kola with Wingy and we just barely started, we can even pick up from where he and I left off since he or I were hosting (off RLG).

Ok so we're doing Kola next? If confirmed I'll buy the map today.

Re: Foothold Missions in the Future
Ok I bought it due to the sale and the fact that it’s looking like Kola will be our next Foothold campaign.

Re: Foothold Missions in the Future
Kola is a beautiful map, now that some of the bugs are out. Yes, looks like Kola will be next, but if not, we can do Marianas since everyone has that one.
I would vouch for Iraq and Afghanistan but since those maps are having stuff added to them now and into the future, that woudl probably change the Foothold mission and might have an effect on our ongoing progress.

So we’re doing Kola tomorrow or the following week?

Re: Foothold Missions in the Future
No, we still have the at least 7 targets in the western part of the Sinai map, plus the red carrier fleet to defeat before we finish the Sinai campaign.

Re: Foothold Missions in the Future
Going to need to put some time in the Hornet to get back up to speed (if my HOTAS holds up).... What would be best for the carrier to practice with. Harpoons?
Re: Foothold Missions in the Future
That's Wingy's department!
I think in the past we just overwhelmed them with Harpoons. If any hit, and it was enough to incapacitate, then we finished them off with GBU-24s.

Re: Foothold Missions in the Future
Sorry I missed last night. My wife's bday and also just fatigued after not sleeping during camping last long weekend. I should be good for next wed DCS. I'll dust off the F18.
